About Us

Goldenview park is a picturesque neighborhood nestled between the Alaskan Range and Cook Inlet, right in the heart of South Anchorage.

Directions to GVP are: Take the new Seward Highway, South, from Anchorage to Rabbit Creek road. Turn east toward the mountains to Bridgeview. Go South on Bridgeview. Bridgeview is easily identifiable by the covered bridge just after you turn. The second entrance to GVP can be reached by continuing up Rabbit Creek Road and turning south on Goldenview Road to Bridgeview. This will bring you into the area from the east.

GVP is served by the Anchorage schools Bear Valley Elementary School, Goldenview Middle School, and the new South High school.

The area is frequented by wildlife including moose, bears, fox, and lynx. Eagles are regularly seen perched in the treetops and soaring above the area. Great views of the Turnagain Arm and its tides, volcanoes across Cook Inlet, the Alaska Range and Sleeping lady are just a few of the pleasures afforded the residents of this hillside community.

The Goldenview Park Home Owners Association consists of property owners in GVP.  This site is to serve the homeowners of Goldenview Park, informing them of issues, projects and social aspects of the GVP development area. It is managed by the Homeowner’s Association Board and our Management Company.

Would you like to get involved in our community?

In addition to a Board of Directors made up of 7 elected Goldenview Park owners, we have several volunteer committee positions, including:

  • Social
  • Paint
  • Spring Inspection
  • Financial
  • Landscape

Board positions are 3-year terms, and members are elected at the Annual General Meeting each November. We would encourage you to get involved in a committee before putting yourself forward for the Board.

If you have any interest in joining a committee or the Board, please contact Mike and let us know; we would be delighted to have you involved!
